Bulk Buckets from Wallflowers Farm are a cost-effective way for you to curate your own arrangements for use in a variety of settings. A mix of colors, textures, and sizes that blend beautifully will be harvested the week of pick up for each order.

Grower’s Choice Bulk Buckets
$100
Each bucket will include 70 stems that are a combination of focal flowers, filler flowers, and foliage. These stems will be grower’s choice, meaning the best from the field will be selected based on what is currently in season. Color palettes will depend on what is in bloom that week, and while exact colors or flowers cannot be requested or guaranteed, the stems you receive will all complement each other in arrangements.
Bulk Buckets must be ordered at least one week before the day you need to pick them up.
All orders are pick up only in Cairo, Ohio. You choose the date on the Bulk Bucket Request Form below. It is recommended you pick up your order the day before your event.

I’m not a floral designer, and I’ve never really created a bouquet or arrangement before. Do you think I should get a bulk bucket?
That is an important question to ask. I can’t answer that for you but hopefully answering a few questions will help you come to the best conclusion.
1. Do you have exact pictures of what your arrangements must look like for you to be happy?
Yes. This is not the option for you. Specific flowers and colors cannot be requested.

2. Do you (or someone that you know) like to be creative and add a personal touch to things, even if it’s something you’ve not tried before?
No. If you answered no, this may not be the option for you. If you aren’t ready to close the door on this option yet, watch a few videos on floral arranging and see if you think you can gain enough confidence to have fun with this project.

Does Wallflowers Farm offer any design instruction or consultation designing arrangements?
This is a DIY option for floral arrangements. No instruction or consultation is provided. Everyone that purchases a bulk bucket will receive an email with information on how to best care for the stems once they are in your possession, but you are the head designer for your event. Have fun and rest assured that the flowers are already a beautiful blend of colors and textures and ready to show off for you!
How many of each type of stem (focal, foliage, and filler) will I actually be getting?
The breakdown of your 70 stems will be approximately 20% focal flowers, 20% foliage, and 60% filler flowers, which will include 6-7 different types of flowers and foliage.
How many arrangements can I make with one bucket?
Please be aware that the following estimations are only guidelines not guarantees. With one bulk bucket you should be able to make one of the following options:
- 6-8 midsize arrangements where the vase opening is approximately 2.5″ using about 8-11 stems per vase
OR - 16-18 bud vase arrangements where the vase opening is less than 2″ using 3-5 stems per vase
OR - 3 large arrangements where the vase opening is 3.5-4″ using 22-24 stems per vase
You can see from the options above that the opening of the vase is helpful to know when estimating how many arrangements you can make.
You keep using these words: focal, foliage, and filler. Can you please tell me what they mean?
I’m happy to! Focal flowers are the larger eye-catching blooms often referred to as showstoppers. Foliage is the greenery that sometimes is an afterthought or seen as less important, but that is not true! It creates depth, texture, and often scent. You’ll see the difference it makes when you assemble your arrangements. Filler sounds like something extra thrown in as padding (would you like extra rolls with that?), but filler flowers bring additional colors and shapes that no bouquet should be without. Put all these elements together, and your eyes probably land first on the showstopping focal then move around the design with delight as you see the different stems harmonize into a beautiful bouquet. The good news is, when you order a bulk bucket, the harmony of their colors and textures is purposefully selected and harvested for your bucket to make the designing that much easier.
Can I come to the farm and see what is in bloom so I can make requests?
Wallflowers Farm does not host visitors at the farm. Specific flowers or colors cannot be requested. Bulk Buckets are grower’s choice, meaning the best from the field will be selected based on what is currently in season. Color palettes will depend on what is in bloom that week, and while exact colors or flowers cannot be requested or guaranteed, the stems you receive will all complement each other in arrangements.
Do you provide vases or jars for the flowers?
No, I don’t have enough vases to offer that option. If you need vases for a one-time event, before you buy, be sure to look around your house and ask friends and family if they have vases, jars, or other containers you can borrow. Be creative and remember everything doesn’t have to match perfectly as long as the containers complement each other to create a cohesive look.
Do you deliver bulk buckets?
No, I do not. Bulk Buckets are pick up only in Cairo, Ohio. They must be ordered at least one week before the day you need to pick them up. A cooled down vehicle with space for the stems will be necessary.
I’m not making arrangements with focals, foliage, and filler, but I am interested in getting a bulk bucket of just one of those elements. Is this an option?
